Today we’re taking you to a vegetarian-vegan restaurant, but you can forget all the clichés that come to mind with this type of cooking. You’re going to be served by a dynamic young team in a very stylish environment, and will taste vegetarian, vegan and other dishes as you’ve never tasted them before. Soups, salads, falafel, burger menus, desserts, fresh juices…, what sounds very normal at first, is served in a most extraordinary way in terms of ingredients and combinations. Dishes can be prepared gluten-free or made suitable for people with allergies.
The creative brain and master of all the green delights is Nico Curtil. Born in France, he currently runs an excellent vegetarian Gault Millau restaurant in Innsbruck. Together with his Luxembourgish partners Pitt Weber und Frank Thinnes, he has now put down his marker with this new culinary delight on the Place Guillaume II (Knuedler), smack in the middle of Luxembourg-city.
You’re at your table in “Beet“ and need some advice? No problem; not only do the staff know all about the food and love to give you their personal advice, they also speak most of the languages you’ll hear spoken in Luxembourg. No one will be forced into becoming a vegetarian or vegan, the restaurant manager, Caroline, emphasises with a smile. So why not have an alternative Sunday brunch (à la Carte)? Rendezvous every Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and in the summer outside on the terrace.
Every three months, “Beet“ organizes a gastronomic evening where you can discover the whole variety of vegetarian cuisine as part of a 7 course menu. More information is available on Facebook.
