Unfortunately, when we visited the “Café des Capucins”, it was a bit too early to try one of the 30 varieties of gin that Christopher Rahmé has on offer. But the pleasant atmosphere persuaded us to come again later.
Here, French Café culture is combined with Scandinavian design. The select menu offers light brasserie food…for example their tartar speciality at lunchtime and a selection of tapas in the evening. And all dishes are homemade!
Thanks to the ingenious ceiling insulation the acoustics are remarkably pleasant, and the location is spot on for the “Théatre des Capucins” and your pre- or post-performance drink and snack. A sophisticated evening cocktail based on one of those many gins perhaps?! In the Café des Capucins, each gin is served differently, for example matched with its appropriate tonic water – to provide its perfect partner.
