The countdown is on, the adrenalin rush escalating and appetites intensifying for Luxembourg City’s (and the Greater Region’s) largest funfair event of the year: That’s right folks, the „Schueberfouer“ is back in town! Transforming over 4 acres of the “Glacis” parking area into a fairground, the „Schueberfouer“ draws just over 2 million visitors to the heart of Luxembourg City each year.
Officially kicking off on august 23rd until September 11th 2012, look forward to a unique combination of 200 different attractions; including 25 major rides, over 12 children’s rides, dozens of food, drink and candy stands, game arcades, shooting galleries, and nearly 100 street vendor stalls – an astounding 3,5 km stretch of entertainment for all ages and tastes. Fairground entertainers from six different countries make the „Schueberfouer“ a multicultural festival with a preserved Luxembourgish flair!
Experience what the locals call the “Fouer“, by hopping on a thrilling ride, tasting typical Luxembourgish fast foods: “Gromperkichelcher”, “gebakene Fesch” or delicious waffles topped with whipped cream and fresh strawberries! Off we go to the FUN “Fouer”!
