This Spanish restaurant sees itself as a work of art and is situated where Luxembourg is most European, on the corner of Boulevard Kennedy/Rue Erasme. The name “La Boquería“ refers to the famous market hall in Barcelona’s vibrant Las Ramblas shopping street.
On entering the restaurant, you are transported to the Catalonian capital: the typical tiles, dark wood, high ceilings and a discreet background of Spanish melodies create a perfectly balanced atmosphere… This authentic Spanish experience is the creation of interior architect Lazaro Rosa Violan, who lives in Barcelona where he developed all of the interior designs.
But it gets better: the menu is crafted with input from the Boquería team’s star consultant Sergi Arola, who runs his own two star Michelin restaurant in Madrid. All the special ingredients are sourced directly from Spain. If you want to experience Mediterranean “Haute Cuisine” you will dine on the spacious ground flour, which has room for up to 120 people. On the first floor you will find the tapas- and cocktail-bar with access to a large terrace for those warm summer evenings.
