The cultural and historical “Wenzel Walk” guides you through the oldest quartes of the city of Luxembourg ( since 1994 registered on the Worldheritage List of UNESCO), as you pass many historically and architecturally edifices. Experience 1000 years of history in 100 minutes. The promenade starts on the Bock Promontory, with a magnificent panorama of the Alzette valley, the suburbs of the Grund, Clausen and Pfaffenthal.
You will pass the Castle Bridge, part of the city ring wall and the biggest Gate – also called Jacob Tower and follow the outer walls of the former barracks back into the valley.
After a short walk along the riverbank you reach a pedestrian elevator that takes you back to the Upper Town.
The Wenzel Walk is free of charge, a great experience for kids and adults.
