Honey and orange with dates, macadamia-caramel, white chocolate with cranberries and nuts from Piemont… just three out of roughly 120 flavours that Michael Frank has developed with his team in the ice laboratory of “Eiscafé Veneziano”. This lets you choose from more than 50 daily flavours available at the ice cream counter on the Place d’Armes in Luxembourg-city.
While we try out the latest “Summer Ice Specials“ (absolutely delicious!!), Michael tells us of his love for ice cream and his goal of always offering his customers new varieties. Besides the classic choices, Eiscafé Veneziano is, not surprisingly, renowned for its innovative and totally extravagant ice creams. Everything is developed in the see-through glass ice cream laboratory, where you can watch Michael and his team going about their work.
During winter, this is where they produce their varied ice parfaits, ice cookies (semi freddo), Tartufo and much, much more. We also recommend their products “Fruit Yoghurt kisses”; yoghurts made from homemade fruit purees. And we must also mention that at Eiscafé Veneziano, customers like to meet up for small snacks such as panini sandwiches or crepes.
