A bicycle from Andy Schleck

by Good Idea | Comment I’m the dealerUpdate

It is a story full of hard work, sweat and dust, breathtaking scenic routes, amazing victories – and a bicycle shop. We have arranged to meet Andy Schleck, 2010 Tour de France winner, in Itzig. Together with Jil Delvaux, he runs the “Andy Schleck Cycles“ shop in the village center.

Schleck’s shop is architecturally appealing, pleasing to the eye with its light and warm colours, and provides ideal conditions for an in-depth tour of the cycling world – and of course Andy Schleck’s world too. Besides racing bikes (including brands such as Trek, Fokus and Cervelo), mountain bikes, children’s bikes, trekking and touring bikes (many as e-version too) and various, sometimes rather unusual, accessories, you can also admire an exhibition of shirts, bikes and trophies from the successful cyclist.

Comprehensive service and optimum customer care are very important to Andy and his team. In the “Fitting-Studio“ you can, with a prior booking, have your perfect bicycle assembled according to high-tech precision measurements. “Andy Schleck Cycles“ also offers wheel repair and maintenance work with a 24 hour guarantee, including a free pick-up and delivery service. If you come by during your bike ride you can have a quick maintenance done, or why not put your bike through the special wash street (a car wash for bikes). For those interested in buying, test bikes are available to try out.

Whether you are a cyclist or are just along for the ride, there’s always time for a break! The shop’s small coffee corner serves drinks and will soon have snacks too. Conversations aren’t just about cycling as the people from the village love to drop in for a chat and coffee with Andy.

Good Idea : Young cyclists are well taken care of. There is a special range of products for children, you can set up communion lists, and there’s a cycling school with expert tips from Andy himself.
